I have a dream"-tale.

Translate: We've been walking miles today, my feet are hurting and my wallet are missing money. I spent my Saturday with my sweet danish friend Caja from the training school, and we went to Washington DC for sightseeing and shopping. We met this morning at the Bethesda Metro, where we bought a smarttrip card and then went to the capital. When we left the metro station, we had no idea where we were. Luckily we found the stores Forever 21, H&M and Zara near the exit of the metro. We spent lots of money on clothes, and then we bought some lunch at the Starbucks. After we had rested a bit, we walked around in DC and tried to find the many memorials and the White House. It was easier said than done. In the main time we went to "The National Museum of American History" and "The National Museum of the American Indian." It was free, so why not? When we were tired of visiting museums, we tried to find the historical monuments again. We walked and walked and walked, and we had to realize that we had gone the wrong way. Not just wrong, but in the wrong direction. We were seriously about to give up, but we had to convince each other, that you can't  go to the capital without seeing the White House. The White House, Washington Monument and World War Two Memorial was found. We watched the Capitol Building and the Lincoln Memorial from a distance, because of the many people in DC today. Today it was the "50th Anniversary March on Washington", which was a celebration of Martin Luther King's speech "I have a dream". After the sightseeing, we wanted to continue our shopping. To our disappointment, the shops were closed and we had ended up in the business streets, where nothing was open. We couldn't find any good place to eat, and we were starving! We ended up eating at Dunkin 'Donuts, where we got a donut rainbow sprinkles and a disgusting sandwich. We regret that we had't chosen McDonalds instead. After the dinner, we took the subway home. Tired. We had a really great day and we're planning more fun next weekend.
